If additional support is required along with tuition costs, students can also access OSAP funds.

How Ontario University Students Qualify
To qualify for this grant, you must:
Have successfully applied to and enrolled in an eligible program in a priority community
Be an Ontario resident who is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person
Agree to work in the region where you studied upon graduation
To receive this grant, you must fulfill a service commitment, which requires you to work in the region where you studied for a minimum of six months for every year funded by this grant.
If certain conditions are not met, including the fulfillment of your service commitment, your funding will become a repayable loan.
If you are studying to get a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Nursing-BScN, Master of Health Science (MHSc) in Laboratory Medicine, or become a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse, Medical Laboratory Technologist, or Paramedic, this grant is for you.
